ABA Therapy

Therapy utilizing techniques based on the principles of ABA. Therapy will target: communication, school readiness, play, daily living, and social skills. ABA therapy helps to reduce challenging behavior that precludes learning by replacing them with functional alternative behaviors.  One-to-one direct therapy services can be provided in the clinic, home, school, and community settings.

Parent Training

Parent education teaches parents the basic principles of ABA in addition to tools and strategies to reinforce appropriate behaviors and skills in your child. The training will also promote generalization of skills across natural environment. Your child's progress will be most successful with parental involvement in the treatment plan and goals.

 

Telehealth

Telehealth services via video or phone call may be available based on availability and location of your family. Telehealth may be used for parent training, behavior consultation, and delivery of direct ABA therapy.

Intake Process

  1.  Contact Pragmatic ABA to request information.
  2. An intake packet will be sent with additional information. This is a good time to contact your insurance company to confirm that your plan covers ABA services.
  3. Complete and return packet. 
  4. We will set up an initial assessment in our clinic. This assessment will be conducted by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.The assessment consists of a parent interview, direct assessment of your child’s skills, and observation. 
  5. An initial treatment plan will be written by the BCBA with recommendations for programming based on the intake. This will be sent to your insurance for authorization. We typically hear back from your insurance within 2-4 weeks. 
  6. Once an authorization has been approved, a member of our clinical team will meet with you to review your child’s goals as well as review company policies and procedures. Caregivers are expected to review all policies and sign off on agreement prior to onset of services.
  7. A schedule and clinical team will be assembled.
  8. Services can begin.
